The Program

Why this exists

Some of the best trainers on our floor right now didn't walk in the door already qualified, they walked in with the right energy, and we backed them. Regulations mean we can no longer hire first and qualify second, so we built this grant to do the same thing the right way: find people with real potential and remove the cost as the barrier.

This is not a résumé competition. We're looking for people who'd be brilliant in front of a class, warm, energetic, coachable, whether or not "Pilates" appears anywhere on their CV yet.

The grant is education support only. It's not a job offer, and it doesn't guarantee one, but graduates are welcome to apply for trainer roles at KX Pilates Blackwood and St Marys once qualified.

What's Covered

What the grant funds

  • Full tuition for an approved Reformer Pilates qualification
  • Your 40 required practical hours (10 observation + 30 participation), hosted at KX Pilates Blackwood or St Marys
A note on training providers: KX Pilates determines which approved provider you're enrolled with, most likely KX Institute (grant value up to $2,750 AUD), though we may instead enrol successful applicants through Barre Body (grant value $2,100 AUD). This is decided by KX Pilates based on availability and fit, not chosen by the applicant.

Not covered: lost wages or time spent studying, travel, accommodation, personal equipment, or certifications outside the approved course.
