Trainer Grant Program
We fund your Reformer Pilates qualification. You bring the energy, the people skills, and the drive, we'll cover the rest.
Why this exists
Some of the best trainers on our floor right now didn't walk in the door already qualified, they walked in with the right energy, and we backed them. Regulations mean we can no longer hire first and qualify second, so we built this grant to do the same thing the right way: find people with real potential and remove the cost as the barrier.
The grant is education support only. It's not a job offer, and it doesn't guarantee one, but graduates are welcome to apply for trainer roles at KX Pilates Blackwood and St Marys once qualified.
What the grant funds
- Full tuition for an approved Reformer Pilates qualification
- Your 40 required practical hours (10 observation + 30 participation), hosted at KX Pilates Blackwood or St Marys
Not covered: lost wages or time spent studying, travel, accommodation, personal equipment, or certifications outside the approved course.
Eligibility
You'll need to:
- Be 18 years or older
- Live in South Australia
- Be eligible to work in Australia
- Be physically capable of completing a Reformer Pilates qualification
- Be ready to commit to the course within the provider's required timeframe
We especially want to hear from:
- Current KX Pilates clients
- People with backgrounds in fitness, dance, allied health, or coaching, or none of the above, if you've got the people skills
- Anyone looking for a real future in the Pilates industry
Applications & selection
One grant is typically awarded per round. KX Pilates Blackwood & St Marys reserve the right to adjust timing or not award a grant in a given round if a suitable applicant isn't identified.
